Dana Williamson was born September 16, 1968, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, but was raised in Dallas, Texas. While growing up, she explored many things and many people. Dana had friends but the type of friends she had was extremely different from her character: From Prostitutes to Gangsters and Dealers. She was not able to understand her attraction to people of their kind until the age of nineteen, when she gave her life to Jesus Christ.
Dana attended the Straightway Church of God in Christ under the leadership of Pastor T. L. Walker. The more she learned about God, the more she shared with the people, and of course, Dana took the word of God back to the streets to share with the people she was first attracted to, and the people she called her friends. At age twenty-nine, Dana was licensed as an Evangelist by Bishop Berry.
Dana received a degree in Criminal Justice and a Doctoral degree in Theology. As Dana entered into the work force, pursuing her career in Criminal Justice, she was able to understand the minds of the people who have chosen a criminal lifestyle. Dana always saw life through spiritual eyes, so she tied her criminal justice experience with her evangelistic lifestyle.
God gave Dana a vision called Faith Talk Ministries, where she has the opportunity to touch the spirit of a person by sharing the goodness of God.
Assisting to mend broken hearts, and turning faithless talk into faith talk, her specialized interest with Faith Talk Ministries is to help transition ex-offenders back into society.
Dana will continue to seek the will of God for his continued guidance and support.
